So I finished 4th in the Twitter Freeroll on Carbon to get into the $50K Gtd. 243 players, 50 pay.Things go well and Im in pos. 14 with 204 left at the 1st break an hour in. Key Hand #1. I have Qh 8h and flop a flush draw. I call 2 small bets on the flop and turn and hit on river. Guy bets 1.2K at a point where the blinds are only 15/30. I call, he shows AQ for 2 pair, and I become one f the biggest stacks in the tournament. This same guy has won the tournament before and begins to attack me verbally all throughout the tournament. At break one I said I was 14/204, well everyone then added on and I went from 14 to 50th. I grind for awhile and slowly lose chips. The comes key hand #2 Blinds 100/200. I have A8 off and check in the bb. flop 349 rainbow. The guy from earlier checks and I bet out 400, he calls. Turn 8. I bet 800 and he calls. River is A. I bet 800 more and he raises to 3200, I call and he shows the 25 suited. He continued to chase with his OESD and hit it on the river. He chases with 8 outs and hits after bereting me for an hour for chasing with 9 outs and hurts my stack. Key hand #3. With only 1.2k left I go all in with AK vs KQ and the guy spikes the Q on the flop eliminating me in 170th place. Just so sick. The 25 hand really hurts me. I keep thinking what I could have done.

It doesn't look as though you did a lot wrong - just got unlucky. As for the distracting chat, I tend to turn that option (and the smileys) off nowadays and just concentrate on the cards. Better luck next time.

nothing you can do about the guy that caught the 25.. obviously he made it his mission to destroy by any means necessary. obviously hitting a pair on the turn, and him just calling and then you hitting 2 pr on the river dont help. but, as you said, you WERE freerolling in this, so even though yeah, it sucks, at least it didnt cost you $$$$.
